Unlike traditional cotton wick candles, wooden wick candles require a bit more patience to light. It might take a few tries to get the wick burning, so stay patient as the final outcome is rewarding!
To ignite your wooden wick candle, use a lighter to warm the wax surface where the wood and wax meet. This will enable airflow beneath the candle, ensuring a steady, clear flame. Be cautious not to get wax on the lighter. Tilt the wooden wick candle slightly, then light the wick using a match or a lighter. If the flame seems small, blowing gently on it can help it grow.
